The PH Artichoke was designed in 1958 by Poul Henningsen for the Langelinie Pavillion restaurant in Copenhagen, where it still hangs. The PH Artichoke is trademarked by its unique and sculptural design, is world-famous, and is considered an international design icon. The fixture consists of 72 leaves splits into 12 rows and their collective placement provides a glare-free light regardless of viewing angle. In order to ensure the highest quality level, large parts of the production process are still done by hand.
